Psychology of Politics - Shaping our Common Future that goes Beyond Words

Petra Klein feels very strongly about the social and political implication of her work as a psychologist, psychotherapist and dance/movement therapist. She believes in "What is true for the micro cosmos is true for the macro cosmos as well". Current politics need to focus at the complexity and interdependency of today's world. There has to be a close link and interchange between politicians and spiritually connected psychologists, besides other disciplines as well, in order to meet the needs of the transitional phase we are currently facing worldwide.

Petra Klein views movement, dance and music as a powerful medium to bridge the gap between nations. But it's not just music and dance - it should be part of an overall psychological background. Most people are not used to express themselves beyond words, to use the universal language of movement and to get in contact so deeply with their intuitive knowledge, that facilitates the process of problem solving. Transitional periods in our time need a medium that is close to transitional experiences by nature. Through movement we are able to facilitate the transition and shape the new "Gestalt", that wants to be born. These bodily felt experiences can culminate in the knowledge of what global actions have to come next in order to find innovative solutions for the current challenges.

This process needs a catalyst who knows the depth psychology oriented specifics of nonverbal interaction and its tremendous power. If this power is channeled in terms of humanity, this will be a big step into the next phase of human development.
