This video illustrates Petra Klein's book "Dance Therapy - The Path to Holistic Being" published 1993 in Germany. We see the wide range of application of dance therapy - from preventive health care, in the sense of a holistic personality unfolding and self-experience, to educational training and clinical application.

The core of Petra Klein's work is the development of our capacity to love and build up relationships - the feeling of belonging to a joyful community. How these prerequisites are formed is made very clear through special dances, with emphasis on different developmental stages. We see how the healing power of dance, together with the human relationship, can heal emotional wounds experienced during childhood. People learn to love themselves, which enables them to love others.
